“The main technical objectives were to transform the show’s groundbreaking real weaponry and explosives demos into 3D animation and create an innovative graphical map interface that includes a narrative walkthrough.”

Secret Location, Designers and Developers, on their website

The companion website to a History Channel Canada/Channel 4 documentary series, D-Day to Victory Interactive is an immersive interactive experience that follows Allied Troops from the invasion of Normandy on D-Day (June 6, 1944) to VE Day (May 8, 1945), when the Nazi government surrendered.

With an interface based on a map of Nazi-occupied Europe, D-Day to Victory also features immersive 3D animated recreations of six key battle sites. As visitors explore these environmental animations, they will discover clickable hotspots that unlock additional multimedia content, including interviews with WWII veterans, whose remembrances form the basis for these immersive explorable animations.
