We wanted to use metaphor and interactivity to allow the participants of the VR experience to feel the emotion behind the subject and not be influenced by any personal biases.

The Key VR is an enigmatic 15-minute room-scale VR experience that takes users through a narrative structure and unique moments of interactivity. Participants are encouraged to keep the topic of The Key a secret to preserve the novelty of the experience for others. The Key takes participants through a variety of dreamlike environments and challenging obstacles that require them to make difficult decisions. In this way, the experience is designed for participants to go through a metaphorical journey from danger to safety, unveiling insights, truths, and beauty along the way.
