The online companion to a documentary of the same name, The Aatsinki Season follows reindeer herders in Finnish Lapland over the course of one year. The short films—each linked to a particular season—explore the connections between man and nature. Ambient audio immerses the audience in the environments of Lapland. Each short ends with an interactive questionnaire that asks the audience their opinions on legislation surrounding farming and ranching rights. When the audience answers, the quiz generates feedback about their responses, showing the pros and cons of various solutions and providing a look at the multiple sides of the issues.
