Cosmic Top Secret is an autobiographical documentary video game in which the player joins “T” in her quest to unveil the secret life of her parents during the Cold War. Collecting pieces of information, finding routes, solving riddles and puzzles, and going to target practice with T’s father, are some of the challenges the user faces throughout the six levels of this detective-like game.
Comprising a mix of paper-collage-like 2D characters in a 3D setting, documentary video interviews, and an aesthetic inspired in classified documents, this game creates a rich atmosphere that involves the user in a world where personal and historical events are mysteriously intertwined.
Cosmic Secret Project was presented at 2017 IDFA Doc Lab, where it won the Award for Digital Storytelling. The game is available online on the Steam platform and as an iOS and Android Application.
