“The purpose of this vlog is to make the invisible visible. I hope these people and their stories connect with you and don’t let go.”
Mark Horvath, Author, in Invisible People
Since November 2008, filmmaker Mark Horvath has been profiling homeless individuals across the United States in the weekly web series Invisible People. Horvath’s goal is to make the homeless visible and to encourage them to share their stories in an effort to combat stereotypes and discrimination. Horvath—who has experienced homelessness himself—is constantly on the road with the project, travelling from town to town to capture the stories of homeless people all over the country. Invisible People has expanded from a web series into a full-fledged 501(c)(3) charitable organization.
